In the 2023 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs), Nigerian singer Rema got six nominations. American singer Taylor Swift got the most nominations with twenty in different categories. Rema’s nominations are for ‘Top Afrobeats Artiste,’ ‘Top Radio Song,’ ‘Top Collaboration,’ ‘Top Billboard Global 200 Song,’ ‘Top Billboard Global (Excl. U.S.),’ and ‘Top Afrobeats Song.’
Other Nigerian artists like Burna Boy, Tems, Wizkid, Ayra Starr, Oxlade, and Victony each got one nomination.
The 2023 Billboard Music Awards will happen on November 19, 2023, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
